Job summary

Remotedxb in Dubai invites qualified Health Information Management professionals to manage medical records, perform release of information requests, and ensure data integrity in line with federal and hospital standards.

Ideal candidates have RHIT/RHIA or related certificates, strong customer service experience, and can coordinate across outpatient and inpatient workflows while safeguarding patient privacy.

Qualifications

• Two years of Health Information Management Department experience.
• Experience in scanning and/or release of information.
• Experience in a customer service role working with the public.

Responsibilities

• Process medical records and identify documentation deficiencies in accordance with Federal, State, and Hospital requirements.
• Manage Release of Information (ROI) by interacting with providers, clinical staff, and the public to accommodate requests.
• Perform deficiency analysis to ensure medical record content matches patient identification and complies with bylaws.
• Prepare and submit birth certificate information to the Colorado State Department of Vital Statistics.
• Manage HIM Department work queues including Outpatient, Inpatient, and Physician Orders.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain the integrity of medical records as legal evidence.

• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
