Job Description

  • Perform overall cleaning of the Health Club, Pool, Beach, and Bask areas, including dusting, removing soiled towels from changing rooms and fitness areas, retrieving clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, steam and sauna cleaning, replenishing supplies, and garbage removal, following Fairmont standards.
  • Attend pre-shift briefings and hand over to the supervisor at the end of shifts.
  • Operate steam and sauna equipment appropriately before opening and after closing shifts.
  • Use cleaning supplies and equipment properly and efficiently.
  • Report any issues or questions to the Health Club Supervisor.
  • Assist guests and heartists courteously, providing towels and seating assistance.
  • Understand and follow simple instructions, procedures, and techniques.
  • Perform routine tasks consistently and efficiently.
  • Report lost and found items immediately to security.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of grooming and uniform appearance.
  • Follow all departmental policies and procedures.
  • Set up pool and beach areas with towels, sunbeds, umbrellas, and amenities before guest arrival.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the pool deck, beach, loungers, and surrounding areas.
  • Manage towel inventory, collecting used towels and replenishing supplies.
  • Assist with recreational or special events at the pool and beach areas.
  • Provide luxury guest experiences by offering cold towels, refreshments, and other amenities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred but not essential.
  • High School diploma, vocational training, or at least 1 year of work experience.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Friendly, pleasant, and good at interacting with people.
  • Excellent personal grooming and cleanliness standards; previous fitness center experience is a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
