Job summary

The Ministry of Education UAE is seeking a qualified professional to oversee health, safety, and environment responsibilities across schools. The role involves enforcing EHS policies, coordinating with service providers, and leading risk assessments and incident investigations.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, preparing reports, and delivering EHS awareness training to staff and students. UAE national candidates with a relevant engineering background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or an equivalent engineering degree.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Proficiency in English.
• Computer skills.
• UAE National.
• Maximum age of 40 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out health and safety duties as delegated by the School Principal
• Implement school EHS policies, programs, and procedures
• Participate in the Security and Safety Committee and prepare emergency plans
• Monitor performance of service providers including maintenance, catering, and cleaning
• Conduct regular inspections and prepare monthly reports
• Report hazards, incidents, and injuries to the Ministry of Education
• Lead investigations into health and safety incidents
• Conduct risk assessments for all school activities
• Provide EHS awareness and orientation training to staff and students
