Job summary

Fundamental Hospitality in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Head Waiter to lead a high-end service team in a nightlife restaurant. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding elevated standards on the floor.

You will mentor wait staff, coordinate with management and reception, and ensure flawless table service while maintaining energy throughout the evening. English fluency is essential; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service and guest experience
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a service team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident, polished, and guest-focused personality
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of English; additional languages are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the service team throughout the shift, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Oversee the service of an assigned section and ensure consistently high standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests, creating a warm and memorable experience.
• Coordinate closely with the Management and Reception teams to ensure smooth guest flow and table management.
• Ensure all service standards, procedures, and presentation guidelines are consistently followed.
• Anticipate guest needs and handle requests or concerns with professionalism and discretion.
• Support the training and development of Waiters and other service team members.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, beverages, and current promotions.
• Assist management with maintaining the energy and service standards of the venue throughout the evening.
