We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Head Waiter to lead our front-of-house service team. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality service standards, support training and supervision of waitstaff, and contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient dining environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waitstaff to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Allocate tables, manage reservations, and handle special guest requests.
- Train, mentor, and support new and junior waitstaff.
- Monitor dining room cleanliness, table settings, and food presentation standards.
- Liaise between kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist in stock control of service-related items (menus, utensils, linens, etc.).
- Support restaurant operations, including opening and closing duties.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Waiter or Head Waiter in a busy restaurant or hotel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, allergens, and service etiquette.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
