- Class teacher of FS 1 Class, carry out all the responsibilities of class teacher
- Assist the Centre Manager with supervision of planning for topics, themes, and activities for all the age groups:
- Assist the Centre Manager with supervision of planning of timetables and communication to staff and parents.
- Assist the Centre Manager in ensuring the management and day-to-day running of the center which includes staff, children, premises, and equipment is of the highest quality in accordance with the EYFS guidelines
- Assist the Centre Manager with staff and monitor attendance shifts and leave.
- Assist the Centre Manager with liaison with parents over concerns, issues, and complaints
- Assisting with training and development of staff
- Assist the Centre Manager in developing operational plans to achieve the shared vision of Ora Nursery of the future, adopting an innovative approach in conducting the classes.
- To ensure the children’s records are up to date. Assessments carried out regularly
- Do observations for the children in the class to monitor the progress of each child in the class
- To work with all staff to ensure that there is effective liaison with the parents over the care of their children, and a smooth induction for new children and parents.
- Time Allocation: Designating specific times for teaching, planning, and leadership duties.
- Professional Support: Seeking mentorship or support from Centre Manager to navigate the dual role effectively.
Skills
Education & Experience:
·Certificate in childcare (CACHE 3) or bachelor’s degree in education with 2 years of experience as a coordinator.
Special knowledge/ Skills:
- The ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to work in a helpful and courteous manner promoting a positive image of the center
- Strong knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
- Being approachable to parents, staff, and students
- Excellent time management abilities
- Being organized
- Open to adopting innovative methods in the class.
