Job description

Abu Dhabi Airports is seeking a results-driven and strategic finance leader to join our Finance Division as Head – Receivables, Revenue & Collections. This key leadership role will oversee the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle across our airport network, including Aeronautical and Non-Aeronautical billing. You will play a critical role in ensuring timely invoicing, robust collections, financial reporting, and customer account accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end billing and collections process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely cash flow.
  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable (AR) team and support performance management across the section.
  • Oversee all revenue contracts from a finance perspective to ensure compliance, accurate charging, and cost coverage.
  • Improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and collection performance.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders (Legal, Commercial, Contracts, etc.) and external parties (airlines, banks, financial institutions).
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closings for AR, billing, and cash modules.
  • Conduct reconciliations, manage intercompany confirmations, and ensure accounting entries are up to date.
  • Support ERP enhancements, automation projects, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Handle customer queries, statements of account, and credit risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with auditors and support legal action when necessary for debt recovery.
  • Participate in corporate audits and contribute to group-level initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with strong expertise in revenue, invoicing, and collections.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and credit/collection policies.
  • Proven track record in managing AR teams and optimizing financial operations.
