Role: Head of Wealth Products Portfolio and Proposition
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
The role will be a senior position (effectively deputy to the Head of Wealth Management), overseeing the growth of the wealth management products proposition portfolio and new sales. The responsibilities include:
- Wealth products
- Wealth/Investment Advisory
- Wealth Portfolio Quality and AUM growth
- Wealth Governance / Process Controls (with governance team)
- Wealth Proposition
Key Accountabilities of the role
- Managing wealth products, including sourcing new products from third parties and through ADIB Capital, enhancing existing offerings, and communicating portfolio updates to clients to increase customer engagement and investment sales.
- Managing the wealth portfolio across the entire segment to maximize customer returns, optimize holdings, and manage concentration risks.
- Monitoring customer returns and reviewing portfolio mix and exposures in line with customer needs and market dynamics.
- Providing regular updates to customers, analyzing portfolios, and designing strategies for customer portfolios.
- Creating an enhanced customer proposition based on segmentation and portfolio holdings, including setting up engagement programs.
- Driving new wealth product sales through RMs and investment advisors, managing sales targets, incentive programs, and performance reviews.
- Developing and enhancing digital initiatives, including end-to-end digital journeys, new digital products like crypto accounts, gold/silver accounts, and robo-advisory services.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, interfacing with external bodies like UBF/SCA.
- Leading the bank's expansion into new business opportunities such as pension funds or new geographies in the GCC.

Previous Experience Required
- 18-20 years of industry experience in managing wealth management at a large international or UAE bank
- University degree is mandatory
- Understanding of marketing dynamics, product knowledge, and local regulations
