Job summary

Mal is seeking a Group Treasury Manager/Head to join our pioneering Sharia-compliant neobank based in Dubai. You will lead treasury operations, liquidity management, and risk strategies to support rapid growth and ethical banking innovations.

Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Technology to shape strategy, governance, and product launches while ensuring strict adherence to Sharia guidelines and UAE regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in treasury management, financial risk, or corporate finance in banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Deep understanding of liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and capital allocation.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and treasury best practices.
• Familiarity with Sharia-compliant banking or ethical finance principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead treasury operations in a scaling organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of FX products (spot, forwards, swaps, precious metals) including pricing strategies and revenue models.
• Establish pricing governance, FX margin matrices, and after-hours pricing frameworks.
• Design and manage group-wide treasury policies aligned with Sharia principles.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and funding across units and jurisdictions.
• Develop and monitor short- and long-term cash flow forecasts and working capital optimization.
• Manage banking relationships and negotiate financing facilities.
• Identify and mitigate currency, interest rate, and counterparty risks.
• Ensure UAE Central Bank and international regulatory compliance.
