Job summary

ADCB’s Finance team seeks a senior technology procurement leader to drive bank-wide sourcing, negotiate with hyperscalers and software providers, and manage strategic supplier relationships.

You will oversee a pan-ADCB procurement framework and guide the team to deliver best-value contracts while mitigating risk.

With 10+ years in technology procurement and a CIPS credential, you will influence senior stakeholders and contribute to budgeting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology procurement, strategic sourcing and vendor management leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
• CIPS accreditation or equivalent required.
• Proven track record leading large-scale technology procurement initiatives and complex negotiations.
• Experience negotiating with major global technology vendors including hyperscalers and software providers.
• Strong understanding of technology contracts, licensing models, and vendor risk considerations.
• Ability to influence and manage relationships with senior business, technology, and supplier stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a bank-wide technology procurement strategy to optimize value from relationships with key vendors.
• Negotiate and execute complex technology contracts with hyperscalers, software providers, system integrators and managed service vendors.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships across technology categories; ensure value, performance, and risk management.
• Oversee procurement framework implementation to enable best-value goods and services from simple purchases to large-scale infrastructure and services.
• Provide inputs to the Procurement Committee for strategic transactions and partnerships.
