Job summary

Virtucruit in the UAE is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead warehouse, distribution, fleet, and logistics operations across the UAE and GCC. The role requires hands-on management of large-scale warehouse operations, improving delivery performance, and driving cost optimization.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in supply chain/logistics, FMCG/chemical distribution, and strong ERP/WMS/TMS experience. Fluency in English and Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse, or Distribution operations.
• Experience with FMCG and/or Chemical distribution.
• Experience managing warehouses of 50,000+ sq. ft.
• Experience leading teams of 50+ employees.
• Experience with ERP/WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Navision).
• Strong knowledge of KPIs, route optimization, and logistics cost management.
• Experience with 3PLs, transporters, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
• Knowledge of UAE/GCC logistics and customs processes.
• English required; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound, storage, picking, dispatch, and last-mile delivery.
• Manage large-scale warehouse operations and ensure efficient utilization of space, resources, and manpower.
• Ensure effective FIFO/FEFO, inventory handling, order accuracy, and warehouse throughput.
• Drive operational improvements through WMS, ERP, Lean, and process optimization.
• Manage fleet, drivers, transportation, and last-mile delivery across the UAE and GCC.
• Ensure strong OTIF performance and high customer service levels.
• Develop route optimization strategies to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate regional logistics and customs activities where required.
• Monitor KPIs and drive cost reductions via Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Lead and develop a 50+ person warehouse and distribution workforce.
