Overview

Grandiose is a proudly home-grown retail chain that redefines shopping and dining experiences in the UAE. As a fast-growing and dynamic brand, we are seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and business-driven Head of Supply Chain to lead our supply chain department.

Job Summary

Lead the integrated Supply Chain function across Retail and Food Business Units (Catering & Flour Country). Accountable for strategy, structure, and execution across all supply chain subfunctions (Planning, Procurement, Warehouse & Distribution, Logistics & Production Last Mile, and Systems & Analytics). Owns KPIs, budget, and alignment with Business Units to ensure cost efficiency, service excellence, and scalability in line with group strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Supply Chain strategy across Retail and Food BUs, ensuring integration with commercial and operations plans. Establish governance, policies, and performance frameworks for end-to-end supply chain operations. Drive transformation initiatives, including SAP implementation as POC, digitalization, and continuous improvement.

  • Functional Oversight: Demand Planning & Replenishment — Ensure accurate forecasting, stock allocation, and safety stock management for Retail & Food. Procurement & Vendor Governance — Oversee non-trading procurement for Food BUs and governance of trading-item procurement executed by Category Managers. Warehouse & Distribution — Lead central warehouses and production facility storage / dispatch, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and space optimization. Logistics & Last Mile — Manage transport planning and execution for production deliveries, store replenishment, and B2B catering flows, ensuring OTIF performance and SLA adherence. Systems & Analytics — Ensure SAP master data accuracy, and actionable KPI dashboards.

  • Performance & Budget Ownership: Own and deliver against KPIs covering service, cost, and efficiency. Manage supply chain budgets, ensuring cost optimization without compromising service levels. Benchmark against industry standards (local, regional, international) and implement best practices.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the key interface with Commercial (Category Management), Production (Catering / Flour Country), and Retail Operations. Build strong partnerships with Finance to balance cost, working capital, and service delivery. Represent Supply Chain in group governance forums, providing transparency and accountability.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline; master’s preferred.

  • 15+ years’ experience in supply chain, including leadership of multi-BU or multi-site operations.

  • Strong track record in grocery retail and / or food manufacturing / distribution environments.

  • Proven expertise in warehouse operations, logistics network design, and procurement governance.

  • Hands-on experience implementing ERP / SAP.

  • Strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term vision and operational realities.

  • Strong financial acumen and budget ownership experience.

  • Ability to lead transformation and manage change across diverse businesses.

  • Collaborative stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • Data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics and KPIs.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in managing Supply chain department for multi-unit retail or food businesses.
