Job Purpose: Responsible for overseeing and managing all supply chain activities including procurement, logistics, inventory/warehouse management, and import/export control. Develops and implements supply chain strategies to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify risks and opportunities, implementing strategies accordingly.
• Ensure cross-departmental alignment of supply chain activities.

Procurement:

• Develop and manage a strong supplier network.
• Implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate favorable contracts and monitor supplier performance.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Logistics:

• Develop logistics strategies to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
• Manage inbound/outbound transportation and carrier negotiations.
• Optimize inventory levels and oversee warehousing and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with customs and import/export regulations.

Supply Chain Optimization:

• Improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Leverage technology for better supply chain visibility and performance.
• Integrate sustainability principles into operations.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
• Recruit, train, and manage talent effectively.
• Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in procurement and logistics management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
• Experience in the aviation industry preferred.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
