Job Description

We are hiring for the position of Head of Sourcing & Supply Chain Excellence.

Location: Dubai

Division: Group Procurement, Axian Telecom

Axian Telecom is strengthening its central procurement function and is seeking a Head of Sourcing & Supply Chain Excellence to lead transformation, optimization, and strategic oversight of procurement, logistics, and supply chain performance across all operating companies.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will shape and drive supply chain excellence across Axian Telecom's footprint. Your team will oversee processes, tools, performance, contracts, reporting, inventory, logistics, and operational transformation, all key levers of value creation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement group-wide procurement and supply chain strategies, processes, and tools.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of senior managers (PMO, logistics, contracts, performance, demand planning, systems).
• Ensure group-wide alignment and continuous improvement in warehousing, inventory, and logistics operations.
• Monitor KPIs, drive operational excellence, and ensure reporting consistency across operating companies.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial stakeholders to align sourcing with rollout and modernization roadmaps.
• Develop and implement training programs and change management plans to support transformation efforts.
• Foster supplier partnerships and negotiate high-impact contracts across regions.
• Lead governance, compliance, and sustainability in all sourcing and supply chain activities.

Your Profile

• 10+ years of senior procurement and supply chain experience, including significant exposure to telecom networks.
• Proven success in managing high-value, multi-country sourcing strategies.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in transformation, centralization, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align procurement with business objectives.
• Fluent in English; French language skills are a strong asset.
