The Head of Social Media will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all social media initiatives. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, creativity, and expertise in content creation, analytics, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing social media for government or PR organizations and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the organization’s social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Lead and manage a team of social media specialists, content creators, and digital strategists.
  • Ensure all social media content aligns with government communication guidelines, brand voice, and public engagement objectives.
  • Monitor trends, analytics, and insights to optimize campaigns and measure impact.
  • Oversee the production of multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and motion graphics.
  • Collaborate with communications, PR, and creative teams to integrate social media into larger campaigns.
  • Establish best practices, workflows, and approval processes for social media content.
  • Represent the organization in digital and social media forums when required.
