Job summary

Izil Beauty LLC in Dubai seeks a senior leader to head R&D, Science & Innovation and Regulatory affairs for cosmetics. You will set strategy, govern technical decisions, and ensure safe, compliant, scalable products from concept through launch.

You will oversee NPD, stability, documentation, registrations, Halal/COSMOS compliance, and post-market technical support, building strong cross-functional partnerships with QA/QC, Procurement and Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in cosmetic R&D with hands-on formulation, scale-up and regulatory exposure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary R&D and regulatory compliance functions.
• Exposure to Halal and COSMOS compliance, audits or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D, Regulatory, and Compliance on strategy, governance and product development.
• Set priorities for NPD, scale-up, transfer to manufacturing and claims substantiation.
• Oversee product registrations, regulatory intelligence, and audit coordination.
• Ensure product safety, stability studies and technical substantiation across markets.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Procurement and Supply Chain for supplier qualification and specs.
• Provide governance for external labs and project partners; protect IP and tech data.
• Support post-market technical responses, complaints handling and CAPA.
• Lead and develop the R&D, Compliance & Regulatory, and Science & Innovation teams.
