Job Overview

Brighton College, UK is a leading Independent-style British International School located in the United Arab Emirates. Founded in 2011 at a prime location on Abu Dhabi Island on a purpose-built, state-of-the-art campus, the College is heavily over-subscribed and was rated outstanding in the most recent BSO inspection.

We are seeking to employ a Head of Sixth Form in the Senior School commencing April 2026.

Our positioning as a leading school in the region, and our outstanding GCSE results, are a testament to the dedication, high standards and hard work of our staff. Teachers are supported and nurtured with CPD opportunities, identified through a combination of personal goals and the school’s development targets. Packages are amongst the best globally with an excellent salary and a strong benefits package.

The role is a challenging and busy one, which requires collaboration with colleagues and parents, an advanced understanding of best educational practice and a willingness to be flexible. The successful candidate will be part of a year group team and will have a professional and inclusive outlook on team work. It is a vibrant, busy and fulfilling place to work, but one where every teacher is expected to 'give their all'.

This is a demanding and varied position where you need to have a genuine passion of educating children. We are looking for a strong desire and commitment to ignite our pupil’s curiosity in developing their knowledge, skills and understanding through leading teaching practices and methods.

Brighton College, Abu Dhabi is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and other agencies.

NOTE: We reserve the right to interview and offer to a strong candidate prior to the closing date. It is strongly recommended that candidates submit their applications as soon as possible.
