The Role

As a Head of Sales focused on the KSA & GCC market, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Convene's footprint across the region. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the market
  • Should be able to handle a competitive team
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Work closely with the marketing team to identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and build a presence in the market
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure client feedback is incorporated into product development

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Head, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or a relevant role in the SaaS or tech industry, preferably with a focus on B2B products
  • Strong understanding of the market and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
