Role Summary :

Reporting to the CEO of SecondSwap, the Head of Sales & Business Development will be responsible for driving the acquisition and onboarding of strategic partners and token projects, turning them into long-term users of the SecondSwap platform. This high-impact role requires close collaboration with product, marketing, and leadership teams to accelerate the growth of our liquidity network.

  1. Identify and build a robust funnel of token projects with locked / vested assets by reaching out to foundations, DAOs, launchpads, and token teams.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners such as VCs, exchanges, blockchain ecosystems, compliance / legal firms, and accelerators that can introduce relevant deal flow.
  3. Drive platform adoption by educating partners on the advantages of token liquidity via SecondSwap’s decentralized vesting marketplace.
  4. Collaborate with token issuers to structure listings and unlock mechanisms tailored to their vesting schedules and needs.
  5. Represent SecondSwap in strategic conversations with potential launch partners, presenting clear value propositions and use cases.
  6. Generate and analyze business development metrics—track conversion rates, deal pipeline health, and partner engagement.
  7. Provide market intelligence on token vesting trends, liquidity challenges, and evolving regulations to help inform product direction and protocol design.
  8. Work closely with the CEO to define and execute go-to-market strategy and growth plans.
  9. Attend industry events, webinars, and AMAs to represent SecondSwap and expand visibility within the Web3 ecosystem.
  10. Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine partner-facing materials, pitch decks, and onboarding documentation.
Requirements :
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships within crypto, DeFi, or fintech.
  • Deep understanding of token vesting, secondary markets, and the liquidity needs of early-stage crypto projects.
  • Strong network across Web3—especially among VCs, token launch platforms, exchanges, and L1 / L2 ecosystems.
  • Experience negotiating strategic deals and navigating legal or compliance considerations in token financing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of locked or vested token mechanics, including the challenges they pose for liquidity and distribution.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.
  • Nice to have: Experience with OTC Trading.
