Job summary

du Pay in Dubai seeks a seasoned Head of Risks and Compliance to lead the function, ensuring UAE regulatory compliance and robust risk management across the organization. The role reports to the Board of Risks and Compliance and interfaces with regulators.

Responsibilities include policy development, risk assessment, and liaison with the Central Bank of UAE, BRCC, and internal stakeholders to uphold governance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Risks, Audit or Law or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Risks and Compliance.
• Experience in fintech / banking sector and with Central Bank.
• Ability to report to the Board and liaise with regulators.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to drive policy.

Responsibilities

• Head the risk and compliance function of the company.
• Ensure regulatory communication and compliance with UAE regulations.
• Oversee development and implementation of risk policies and controls.
• Liaise with the Board/BRCC for policy reviews and approvals.
• Monitor risk appetite, controls, and remediation actions.
• Report to Central Bank of UAE and regulators as required.
