This position leads the PR & Communications function across both the Corporate / Business and Lifestyle & Entertainment sectors. A proven track record in a similar industry within the GCC region—preferably at a senior leadership level—is essential and non-negotiable.
We are representing one of the largest and most influential media groups in the Middle East, recognized for a diverse portfolio spanning business, news, lifestyle, and entertainment. As the Head of Public Relations, you will lead the development and execution of integrated communication strategies across both Corporate & Business and Lifestyle & Entertainment segments.
This senior leadership role is critical in elevating brand perception, driving audience engagement, managing reputation, and ensuring consistency in messaging across all platforms and verticals. The ideal candidate is a seasoned PR leader with proven experience across both business and entertainment domains, capable of balancing strategic oversight with creative execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Brand Positioning
- Develop and implement a cohesive PR and communications strategy across business and entertainment verticals to enhance brand equity and audience reach.
- Lead cross-segment communication planning, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with editorial, commercial, and creative objectives.
- Serve as the primary architect for narrative development, translating complex corporate and entertainment themes into compelling messaging.
Media Relations & Stakeholder Management
- Build and manage high-level relationships with media, including journalists, editors, influencers, and content creators in both business and entertainment sectors.
- Oversee communications for high-profile stakeholders, including C-suite executives, talent, and brand ambassadors.
- Lead partnerships with key media outlets, sponsorship initiatives, and cross-industry events to maximize visibility.
Crisis & Reputation Management
- Proactively monitor media cycles and social sentiment to manage reputational risks across all verticals.
- Develop and lead crisis communication strategies, providing counsel during high-pressure situations affecting corporate reputation or talent issues.
- Serve as the spokesperson or designate key representatives for media engagements when needed.
- Oversee messaging and content dissemination across digital platforms, social media, podcasts, print, and live events.
- Collaborate with content creators, editors, and production teams to ensure audience-relevant storytelling that aligns with brand tone and voice.
- Lead communication campaigns for key events such as business forums, product launches, entertainment premieres, and festivals.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of communication professionals across geographies.
- Collaborate with marketing, editorial, legal, and talent teams to ensure integrated communication efforts.
- Set KPIs and measure campaign success through media impact, brand perception, and audience engagement metrics.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Min 10+ years of senior-level experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Media Relations across Business and/or Entertainment sectors.
- Deep understanding of regional and global media landscapes, particularly in the Middle East.
- Expertise in crisis management, brand strategy, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and project management skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic preferred.
- Experience managing communications across diverse platforms and audience segments.
