Job Overview:
The Head of Procurement is responsible to drive sourcing function including establishing Co- Manufacturing Alliances, securing B2B/B2C operations and ensures all financial objectives and activities are aligned with the goal of the Business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading all sourcing/procurement activities across direct and indirect materials, all packaging and co packed products.
- Leading the process of supplier validation, business allocation scenarios, supplier agreements, prices negotiations as well as contracts related management.
- Implement SLA with all suppliers to ensure clear forecast estimates, supply security/availability and price risk management.
- Develop strong understanding of market, price trends and monitor competitive factors.
- Regularly analyzing the market, trends and recommends to the management both risks and opportunities in terms of supply and sourcing.
- Interfaces between local supply chain, regional master planning, category terms and suppliers on sourcing options and alternatives.
- Ensures that data master files are updated with right data, information, prices etc. Arranges new materials to create and/or maintain Master Data Management.
- Liaises with Category teams to achieve KPI’s.
- Leads the prices and payment terms negotiations with strategic and tail end suppliers to seal long term strategic agreements.
- Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve cost saving and cost avoidance ideas.
- Ensures the complete follow through of project supports, from managing the product/supplier sourcing, execution of supplier delivery and quality.
- Lead team to drive KPIs, process efficiencies, track progress and adjust strategies to ensure continual improvement of cost and supply base performance.
- Cultivate suitable supplier relationships of each business situation.
- Supporting growth and innovation through identification and implementation with Co-Manufacturing Partners (Local & International) including researching and evaluating potential plants for existing & new products launches.
- Build a robust customer/supplier base market studies to identify new Co Manufacturing Partners (Local & International).
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/manufacturing and supply chain management/engineering and supply chain management/ MBA
- Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions.
- Financial Literacy
- Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex data and/or to develop forecasts.
- Enhance sustainability by developing stable suppliers who meet business requirements consistently.
- Awareness of new technology and digital transformations in the FMCG Industry
- Budgeting, Forecasting.
- Supply & Demand Forecasting and distribution execution.
- Knowledge of financial and legal aspects of local and international procurement contracts, documentary credit & related documentation, Setting KPI’s and Letter of Credit
