Head of Planning and Supply Chain (Luxury Retail)

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Planning and Supply Chain, to lead and enhance our operations, ensuring the seamless movement of goods across our prestigious network while maintaining the exclusivity and precision that our clients expect.

As the Head of Planning and Supply Chain, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end supply chain strategy, ensuring flawless execution of logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations. You will oversee the supply chain team and collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and elevate the luxury experience for our clients. This is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of both luxury retail and global logistics, along with the ability to manage complex supply chain functions in a dynamic and fast-paced luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of supply chain planning, logistics, and distribution for the brand across the UAE and key international markets.
• Oversee distribution center operations, ensuring that products are delivered with precision and meet the highest standards of quality and exclusivity.
• Work closely with senior leadership teams in Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Innovation, and Quality to align supply chain goals with business objectives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, ensuring they meet the brand’s exacting standards for quality, reliability, and timeliness.
• Identify and secure logistics solutions and partnerships in the UAE and internationally, ensuring smooth and scalable operations to support growth in key markets.
• Manage and optimize logistics costs, including freight and duty charges, while maintaining a premium service level.
• Ensure the supply chain operations comply with local regulations, sustainability standards, and the brand’s ethical principles.
• Lead the integration of cutting-edge technologies and systems to improve supply chain visibility, tracking, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the luxury goods, fashion, or retail industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Expertise: Proven expertise in luxury supply chain management, including logistics, inventory control, distribution, and supplier relationship management.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and communicate complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of the luxury market in the Middle East and a deep appreciation for high-end customer expectations.
