Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to join our team, reporting directly to the CEO for the MENA region. This key role involves overseeing all financial regulatory report submissions, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our UAE operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for all financial regulatory reports submissions (monthly clients money, cash flow monthly forecast)
  • In charge of relationships with various stakeholders inside and outside the organisation - tax authorities, suppliers, banks etc
  • Approving expenses and costs for UAE region
  • Monitoring and managing daily cash position of the Company
  • Oversight of daily Client Money reconciliations per SCA rules
  • Oversight of bookkeeping of the Company
  • Oversight and management of payments to suppliers
  • Dealing with Auditors, annual SCA reports

Requirements :

  • A university degree and at least (5) years of experience in financial markets or related fields; or
  • A diploma or less and at least (5) years of experience in the financial markets or related fields.
  • Good command of the English Language
  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance
  • Knowledge of local statutory requirements
  • Experience with process documentation and finance process improvement will be an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting rules and requirements
  • Good knowledge of accounting practices

Preferred But Not Essential :

  • Analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Experience with G-Suite

Personal Qualities :

  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
