BettingJobs is working with a new iGaming operator looking to expand in the UAE market. This startup company is seeking to fill the Head of Operations position, which will be one of their first hires.

Responsibilities :

  • Build and lead teams in CS, Payments, Fraud & Risk, CRM, VIP, Retention, and Telesales, prioritizing according to the roadmap.
  • Hire, structure, and scale teams for efficiency, customer experience, and fraud prevention; develop SOPs across operations.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations including uptime, support, payments, and cross-team coordination.
  • Implement escalation and crisis management frameworks; enforce advanced fraud and risk controls.
  • Collaborate with KYC, AML, and compliance teams to maintain operational integrity.
  • Oversee deposits, withdrawals, liquidity, and player funds management.
  • Drive gamification initiatives such as missions, streaks, and leaderboards; align operations with marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze bonus costs, risks, and ROI; benchmark and optimize promotional activities.
  • Manage mass promotions, backend configurations, and recovery plans.
  • Develop VIP strategies including account managers, perks, tracking, and upselling; implement tiered retention programs.
  • Monitor margins, player behavior, and vertical performance metrics.
  • Partner with BI and product teams to anticipate issues and mitigate revenue risks.

Requirements :

  • 5–10 years of experience in senior roles within online casino operations, preferably at Tier-1 operators.
  • Proven ability to manage teams of 40+ across multiple departments.
  • Deep understanding and experience in implementing gamification strategies.
  • Strong background in fraud prevention and risk management.
  • Experience managing reserve funds, float, and payout timelines.
  • Ability to evaluate, launch, and adjust promotional campaigns with comprehensive bonus cost analysis.
  • Knowledge of competitive benchmarks, product profitability, and player behavior trends.
  • Proficiency with dashboards and decision-making based on data metrics.
  • Calm, decisive, and effective in high-pressure situations, including system downtimes and payment delays.
  • Experience aligning support, product, finance, and compliance goals.
