Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to spearhead the development and growth of our newly established Mortgage vertical at Yubi. As the Head - Mortgage , you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end profit and loss (P&L) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for our mortgage business, encompassing both retail and commercial segments. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and a passion for building a technology-driven mortgage platform tailored to the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the mortgage vertical, aligning with Yubi’s overall business goals and objectives. Formulate and implement long-term plans to drive growth, profitability, and market dominance in the UAE mortgage sector.

P&L and AOP Management : Take ownership of the entire P&L and AOP for the mortgage vertical, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement strategies to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Product Development and Innovation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative mortgage products and services that cater to the evolving needs of retail and commercial customers. Leverage technology to streamline processes, enhance customer experience, and drive competitive advantage.

Partnerships and Ecosystem Development : Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including real estate developers, brokers, aggregators, and other industry players. Foster an ecosystem that facilitates seamless integration and collaboration, driving business growth and customer acquisition.

Technology Integration and Enablement : Work closely with technology teams to build a cutting-edge, technology-centric mortgage business. Ensure the adoption of advanced technologies, such as AI, data analytics, and automation, to enhance operational efficiency, risk management, and customer experience. Champion a digital-first approach and drive the development of innovative technology solutions tailored for the mortgage industry.

Channel Management : Oversee and optimize multiple distribution channels, including direct sales, broker networks, real estate partnerships, and aggregation platforms. Develop and implement channel-specific strategies to maximize reach, customer acquisition, and market penetration.

Talent Management and Leadership : Build and lead a high-performing team of mortgage professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Attract, develop, and retain top talent to drive the growth and success of the mortgage vertical.

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the mortgage industry in the UAE. Implement robust compliance frameworks and risk management protocols to mitigate legal and operational risks.
