EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Head of Mechanical Manufacturing to lead CNC machining, surface treatment, and mechanical manufacturing operations on-site. You will oversee production delivery, capacity planning, industrialization, and cross-functional coordination to meet business and customer requirements.

The role demands a Bachelor’s in engineering and 10+ years of manufacturing leadership, with a strong command of production, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of production operations, CNC machining and industrialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNC machining, surface treatment, and manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
• Manage production planning, capacity, manpower, equipment utilization, and resource allocation.
• Ensure production readiness for new products, including tooling, processes, materials, and manufacturing documentation.
• Oversee third-party engineering and industrialization partners, ensuring timely and effective technical support.
• Monitor operational KPIs, including output, utilization, downtime, scrap, rework, and on-time delivery performance.
• Drive quality, compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Lead, develop, and manage manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards while maintaining equipment reliability and operational continuity.
