An established industry player is seeking a Head of Department for its expanding Transport Division. Randstad Middle East is working with a leading infrastructure development and finance company in order to fill a number of key positions within their successful, expanding Transport Division. The organisation is involved with the development of large scale infrastructure BOOT schemes (Build, Own, Operate, Transfer) across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
A Head of Department is required to join the Transport sector. Reporting to the Divisional Director, the Head of Department will be responsible for setting business goals and objectives in line with board directions and for mentoring middle management in meeting their targets. You will be expected to independently generate project leads through your existing relationships.
Candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA (Finance / Construction Management preferred) and will have around 15 – 20 years experience working with an international Engineering Consultants or Project Management Firm on major Infrastructure projects and ideally BOOT Schemes. Working across the international region (Middle East, Africa and Asia), candidates should be prepared to travel.
