Our client is a globally recognised luxury brand with an iconic presence across fashion, fine jewellery, watches, and accessories. Known for its heritage, creativity, and timeless style, the brand continues to expand its footprint in the Middle East one of its most important growth regions. To support this expansion, the brand is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Marketing & Communications to lead regional strategy and execution across all channels.

Role Overview

As Head of Marketing & Communications , you will be responsible for developing and implementing a unified marketing, PR, and communications strategy for the Middle East region. This leadership role will oversee brand positioning, integrated campaigns, media relations, digital communications, corporate messaging, and localised activations. Working closely with global teams and regional stakeholders, you will ensure consistency in messaging while tailoring initiatives to resonate with the local luxury clientele.

This is a high-impact role requiring a strategic thinker, brand storyteller, and team leader someone who understands the nuance of luxury and the voice required to communicate with HNWIs and culturally diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Communications Leadership

  • Own and lead the regional marketing & communications strategy across all business units and product categories.
  • Translate global brand vision into market-specific campaigns, communication platforms, and seasonal messaging.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact between regional business teams and global marketing, ensuring alignment and flow of communication.

Brand & Corporate Communications

  • Develop and maintain a premium brand voice across all consumer and corporate communications.
  • Craft and oversee key messaging across press releases, internal communications, executive talking points, and media narratives.
  • Support leadership with corporate communications strategy, including crisis communications, public statements, and CSR messaging.

Media Relations & Public Relations

  • Build and manage strong relationships with regional media, luxury press, and influencers.
  • Oversee PR strategy and execution, working closely with appointed agencies to secure high-quality placements.
  • Represent the brand at media briefings, press launches, and industry events as required.

Integrated Campaign Development

  • Lead the planning and implementation of omnichannel marketing campaigns across digital, print, retail, and experiential platforms.
  • Ensure all campaigns reflect the brand’s identity, tone, and visual direction while driving commercial relevance.
  • Oversee campaign production, budgeting, asset localisation, and KPI tracking.

Digital & Social Media Oversight

  • Collaborate with digital teams to execute a cohesive online brand presence across all platforms.
  • Support influencer marketing and social storytelling efforts tailored to local cultural contexts.
  • Work with CRM teams to align communications across the customer journey.

Retail & Event Communications

  • Partner with retail operations and visual merchandising to support boutique openings, client events, VIP activations, and seasonal in-store campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and brand experience at the boutique level.

Team & Agency Management

  • Lead and mentor a regional team of marketing, PR, and digital professionals.
  • Manage external agencies, including PR, media buying, event, and creative partners, to deliver against brand expectations.
  • Oversee regional marketing & communications budget with a focus on efficiency and return on investment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. A Master’s degree or luxury brand certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in a senior marketing and communications leadership role , ideally within the luxury retail , fashion, or jewellery sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading integrated campaigns and brand communications in a regional or global capacity.
  • Strong media and industry network across the Middle East luxury space.
  • In-depth knowledge of Middle Eastern consumer behaviour, luxury market trends, and media landscape.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage .
  • Strategic, creative, and commercially minded.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence across functions and cultures.
  • Confident in handling executive communications and high-stakes messaging.
  • Agile and adaptive in a fast-paced luxury environment.
