Job description

As the Head of Marketing, you will lead a dynamic team of marketing strategists, a brand partnership manager (to be recruited), and a graphic designer with a primary focus on conceiving and executing innovative marketing campaign concepts for our clients' loyalty programs. This role is instrumental in driving growth and performance for our clients by crafting compelling strategies that leverage our technology and reward content, ultimately increasing redemptions on our white-label branded ecommerce platform. Success in this role entails growing the accounts by captivating clients with unique incentive concepts, new reward propositions, audience alignment, or desirable brand associations, fostering our clients’ enthusiasm, unlocking additional marketing communication channels, such as exclusive newsletters or prominent homepage visuals, and propelling our clients' loyalty programs to new heights.

What will you do

  1. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their objectives and needs
  2. Carry budget responsibility for the existing client base of Loylogic
  3. Manage and mentor a team of marketing and brand partnership professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  4. Spearhead the creation of effective marketing campaign concepts tailored to each client's loyalty program
  5. Continuously research and identify emerging trends and opportunities in loyalty program marketing
  6. Collaborate with teams to curate and optimize reward content, ensuring its appeal to target audiences
  7. Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
  8. Drive revenue growth by identifying cost-effective marketing strategies that align with client budgets
  9. Collaborate with the market place team to explore and establish partnerships with brands, vendors, or influencers to enhance loyalty program offerings
  10. Prepare and deliver persuasive pitches and presentations to clients, highlighting the value of proposed marketing concepts
  11. Secure additional marketing communication channels from clients, such as special newsletters, homepage placements, or social media promotions, to boost campaign reach and impact

What will you need

You will come from an agency background, having managed and grown the accounts under your leadership, ideally as a group account director in an advertising or marketing agency.

  1. Marketing Expertise: a deep understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, particularly in the context of loyalty programs and customer acquisition
  2. Marketing experience with a track record of progressively responsible roles, ideally in a (loyalty) marketing or advertising agency is crucial
  3. Prior experience in managing budgets and client relationships is highly beneficial
  4. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to make informed decisions and optimize campaign performance
  5. Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and inspire a team of marketing professionals
  6. Client Relationship Management: excellent client communication and relationship-building skills to understand client needs and maintain satisfaction
  7. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis, to meet and beat budget targets
  8. Ability to think strategically and develop innovative marketing concepts aligned with client objectives
  9. Negotiation skills for securing additional marketing communication channels and forming partnerships
  10. Great presentation skills to create compelling presentations and deliver persuasive pitches to clients
