We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Maritime to lead our growing maritime division across the Middle East. Based in Dubai, this strategic leadership role will oversee civil engineering maritime projects including coastal developments, ports, terminals, jetties, quay walls, and marinas. The successful candidate will lead teams, manage business performance, oversee financials, and drive business development to grow our maritime services in the region.

Your Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary maritime engineering team across the Middle East, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
2. Business Strategy & Operations: Develop and implement strategic plans for the maritime business aligned with regional goals. Oversee daily operations, resource planning, and project delivery.
3. Financial Oversight: Manage profit & loss, revenue forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
4. Project Oversight: Provide technical guidance for maritime design and construction supervision projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and client expectations.
5. Client Engagement & Business Development: Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, identify new opportunities, lead proposals, and support bidding for major projects.
6. Regional Coverage: Oversee projects across the Middle East, collaborating with stakeholders to expand the company's presence in key markets.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of maritime engineering experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience managing large coastal or port infrastructure projects from conception to construction supervision.
• Understanding of Middle East market dynamics; regional experience preferred.
• Strong business, financial, and commercial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills.
• Leadership qualities to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
