About the role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Manufacturing to lead our dynamic manufacturing operations in Dubai. The role will be part of the Senior Management Team and be primarily responsible for ensuring best in class manufacturing and delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and production, with a minimum of 10 years of experience, including expertise in waterjet cutting, CNC machining, CAD Drafting, maintenance, installation in Porcelain and Marble for kitchens, and advanced manufacturing techniques. Knowledge of dry film coatings is an advantage. This role requires excellent leadership skills to manage a multicultural workforce of up to 100 employees, including 5+ direct reports. Commercial experience in managing budgets as a cost centre is a must. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation through Lean Manufacturing and the latest production methodologies in a rapidly growing company.

By combining manufacturing proficiency with leadership, the Head of Manufacturing plays a vital role in ensuring operational and commercial success. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the manufacturing processes and technical standards underpinning our products. Oversees production, manufacturing, assembly and installation processes for all product lines, Slabs, Tiles, Kitchen counter tops, and Coatings ensuring efficiency and scalability. Adhering to internal Production and Quality procedures, maintenance of all plant and equipment as well as company HSE policies.

Reporting lines will be Production Manager – Slabs, Production Manager – Coatings, Maintenance, Installation Lead – Kitchen Counter Tops, CAD Team, ensuring quality, seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Sanipex Group offers a comprehensive portfolio of Bathroom, Tiles, Outdoor Furniture, Kitchen Appliances and Lighting products. The Head of Manufacturing will support each of our product categories, however the core focus and technical experience should be within our product lines of Slabs, Tiles, Coatings and installation of kitchen countertops.

Key responsibilities

1. Manufacturing & Production Leadership: Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal productivity, quality, and efficiency.
2. Process Optimization: Implement and continuously improve Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance operational performance.
3. Waterjet Cutting & dry film coatings: Utilize expertise in waterjet cutting and modern manufacturing and production coating techniques to improve production processes.
4. Workforce Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
5. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain the highest quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
6. Cost & Efficiency Management: Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.
7. Technology & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest manufacturing advancements and integrate relevant technologies to improve efficiency.
8. Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety standards and protocols.
9. Strategic Growth & Expansion: Support the company’s growth strategy, scaling manufacturing operations to meet increasing demand.
10. Manage an installation team for manufactured products, site visits, measurements and installation services.

About you

You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and production within the UAE, with a strong background in advanced manufacturing techniques, particularly waterjet cutting. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is required, and an MBA will be considered a strong plus. Your expertise will include a deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies, enabling you to drive operational efficiency and productivity. You will have successfully managed a workforce of at least 100 employees, including leading more than five direct reports, and will be comfortable developing and motivating a diverse, multicultural team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Your strong commercial and financial acumen will allow you to optimize costs while maintaining high performance and output standards. You will possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, paired with proven leadership skills that foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. A good knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements will be an advantage, supporting your commitment to quality and regulatory adherence. You will also bring the ability to manage and lead multi-disciplinary teams across various technical roles.
