My client, a fast-growing and well-established company in the food & beverage industry based in the UAE, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Logistics to lead and scale their end-to-end logistics operations across the region.

This is a key leadership position, responsible for driving efficiency, performance, and innovation within the supply chain, with a particular focus on cold chain logistics, warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the overall logistics and distribution strategy in alignment with business growth plans.
2. Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including warehouse management, fleet operations, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
3. Optimise cold chain logistics processes to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
4. Lead the logistics team across multiple sites, promoting a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
5. Build strong partnerships with third-party logistics providers and transport partners to ensure service levels and cost efficiency.
6. Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and production teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
7. Analyse logistics KPIs and implement data-driven strategies to improve delivery performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
8. Ensure all logistics activities are compliant with local regulations and international food safety standards.

Candidate Requirements:

1. 8+ years of progressive experience in logistics/supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
2. Proven track record within the food & beverage or perishable goods sector - experience with cold chain is highly preferred.
3. Strong understanding of logistics operations in the UAE/GCC region, including regulatory frameworks and import/export requirements.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex, fast-paced logistics networks.
5. Proficiency with logistics software, WMS, and data analysis tools.
6. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
7. Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
