Head of Investor Relations - Fintech Portfolio Company (UK and USA Experience Only)
As the Head of Investor Relations , you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with investors, analysts, and capital market stakeholders primarily across the UK & US. You’ll play a critical role in shaping our public market narrative, preparing for IPO readiness, and driving ongoing investor engagement and market confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a world-class investor relations strategy tailored for a UK or US public listing.
- Serve as the primary spokesperson to the global investment community, particularly institutional investors, analysts, and funds in London and New York.
- Lead all aspects of IPO investor communication, including roadshows, investor presentations, prospectus input, and messaging strategy.
- Develop and maintain high-quality investor materials, including quarterly earnings scripts, investor decks, fact sheets, and annual reports.
- Partner with the CEO, CFO, legal, and communications teams to ensure consistent and transparent messaging aligned with financial and strategic goals.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, shareholder sentiment, and competitor activity to inform strategic communication and positioning.
- Coordinate with investment banks, legal advisors, and auditors to support IPO readiness and compliance.
- Lead post-IPO engagement including earnings calls, investor days, and ongoing shareholder communications.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or corporate finance—preferably with a focus on IPOs and public market listings in the UK or USA.
- Proven experience navigating a company through an IPO or major capital markets event (LSE, NASDAQ, or NYSE experience strongly preferred).
- Exceptional financial literacy and ability to translate complex financials into compelling narratives.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence.
- Deep relationships across the UK and / or US investment communities.
- Familiarity with SEC, FCA, and relevant regulatory frameworks is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA, CFA, or similar qualifications are advantageous.
