Overview

We have partnered with a leading global asset manager looking to hire a Head of Investment Services to join their MENA team in Dubai.

This strategic role is designed to reinforce the firm’s investment identity across the Middle East and Africa, serving as the local ambassador to represent global house views and investment philosophy.

This leadership-level hire reports to the Regional CEO (Dubai), with functional ties to global investment leadership. The role offers the opportunity to operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence, without the requirement of managing a large team.

Responsibilities

• Represent and translate global house views into actionable, regionally resonant messaging
• Serve as the “identity carrier,” fully aligned with global teams including senior investment stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments
• Sit on the Regional Investment Committee (MENA & Africa) to ensure alignment of views and delivery
• Deliver thought leadership that builds internal and external credibility (not commercial distribution)
• Maintain close and regular interaction with global investment teams
• Guide client-facing teams to deliver solutions aligned with the house view
• Provide leadership gravitas in a flat team structure without requiring direct reports

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in an investment-driven role (not sales-focused)
• Track record as a Portfolio Manager, CIO, or senior Investment Specialist with a strategic market perspective
• Cross-asset knowledge (macro, multi-asset, fixed income); not product-specific
• Experience operating at the intersection of institutional insight and private client delivery, preferably with prior exposure to regional asset managers or investment arms of larger groups
• Strong understanding of macroeconomic and cross-asset frameworks
