• Leverage global capabilities and international client relationships to develop opportunities in the Middle East.
• Take responsibility for the commercial performance, profitability and long-term growth of the advisory business.

Job description

We are working with a large international multidisciplinary consultancy looking to appoint a Head of Advisory to establish, develop and lead its advisory business across the Middle East.

With a significant global presence, an established international client base and a strong track record across major infrastructure and development projects, the business is looking for an experienced leader who can build a successful and profitable advisory operation in the region.

This is a senior leadership position offering significant autonomy, with the financial strength, technical expertise and resources of a major international consultancy behind it.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional strategy for the advisory business, identifying opportunities for growth across the GCC.
• Establish and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers across developers, investors, infrastructure owners and major project clients.
• Originate new business opportunities, secure advisory mandates and build a sustainable revenue pipeline.
• Develop the consultancy's advisory offering across infrastructure, development, commercial and strategic advisory services.
• Build and lead a high-performing advisory team as the business grows.
• Leverage the organisation's existing global capabilities, technical expertise and international client relationships to develop opportunities in the Middle East.
• Take responsibility for the commercial performance, profitability and long-term growth of the advisory business.

Candidate Requirements

• Significant experience in a senior leadership position within an established advisory or professional services consultancy.
• Proven experience establishing, building or significantly growing an advisory business.
• A strong background in infrastructure, development, commercial, investment or strategic advisory.
• An extensive and established network of senior-level client relationships across the GCC is essential.
• Demonstrable track record of originating advisory mandates, winning new clients and generating significant consultancy revenue.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience developing business strategies, managing P&L responsibilities and building teams.
• Ability to operate independently and take ownership of a business while working within a large international organisation.
• A strong understanding of the Middle East consultancy market and the opportunities within it.
