Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Incident and Problem Management within cloud-native environments and will establish scalable support frameworks grounded in Agile and ITIL methodologies. This senior leadership role requires deep technical knowledge, excellent communication and people management skills, and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership, Relationships & Knowledge

• Experience in a senior technology leadership role such as Lead Developer, Delivery Architect, or CTO.
• Ability to foster strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Understanding of architectural best practices for scalable, cloud-based platforms.
• Forming and guiding multidisciplinary teams into a cohesive, high-output function.
• Awareness of technology trends and their application to business strategy.
• Financial acumen including budgeting and technology-driven business planning.
• Conducting technical research and system analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Defining, enforcing, and improving software engineering standards and best practices.
• Strengthening Agile development culture and optimizing workflows.
• Shaping the company’s technology roadmap to align with business goals.
• Providing leadership across software engineering initiatives and projects.
• Serving as a trusted voice for technology vision, direction, and innovation.

Delivery

• Translating business strategy into actionable designs, plans, and solutions.
• Optimizing feature deployment processes to maximize developer productivity.

Infrastructure

• Ensuring security, stability, and uptime of critical applications and infrastructure.
• Architecting scalable, cost-efficient IT and business systems.
• Managing technical risks, debt, and platform sustainability proactively.
• Enabling growth through forward-thinking technology investments.

Qualifications

• MSc / BSc / BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
• Proven expertise in Cloud SRE practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of SSO and IAM.
• Familiarity with telephony, LAN / WAN infrastructure, and disaster recovery.
• ITIL Certification; experience with ITIL-based service management.
• Experience configuring Jira Service Desk and managing Jira projects.
• Strong KPI tracking and uptime reporting skills.
• Problem-solving skills in performance and capacity planning.
• Experience in fintech is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse, distributed teams.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 and PCI standards.
• Familiarity with KYC frameworks and payment workflows.
• Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or online trading platforms.
