Position Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Global IT Operationsto lead the technology infrastructure across a rapidly growing global fintech organization. This role is instrumental in ensuring scalable, secure, and resilient IT operations across all international subsidiaries, supporting a mission to deliver cutting-edge financial services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the global IT infrastructure strategy—including data centers, cloud operations, network services, and service desk management—ensuring world-class service delivery across geographies.

Reporting to: Chief Data and Technical Officer (CDTO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the global IT infrastructure strategy across all regions and subsidiaries.
• Manage a global infrastructure team responsible for data centers, hardware, and IT procurement.
• Develop and implement cloud services strategies including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Oversee the Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure 24/7 monitoring and optimal network performance.
• Direct the Global Service Desk to provide seamless, round-the-clock IT support.
• Lead vendor management, procurement operations, and asset lifecycle optimization.
• Drive automation of infrastructure processes to increase efficiency and service reliability.
• Design and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
• Oversee enterprise migrations to cloud-based infrastructure.
• Deploy collaboration platforms and tools that enhance workforce productivity.
• Align IT service delivery with broader business needs and global expansion strategies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven success in managing global IT infrastructure and operations across multiple regions.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies.
• Strong grasp of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
• Extensive experience in managing enterprise networks and global IT support functions.
• In-depth understanding of IT procurement and vendor governance.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing distributed teams across time zones and cultures.
• Prior experience working in emerging markets including Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia.
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or other relevant credentials are preferred.
