As Head of Department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic direction of your subject area, leading a team of passionate educators, and ensuring that teaching and learning standards align with CCSS and 21st-century skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership in curriculum planning, development, and implementation.
  2. Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality instruction aligned with CCSS.
  3. Mentor and support faculty through professional development and performance evaluations.
  4. Analyse student achievement data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  5. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive department culture.
  6. Oversee the integration of technology and best practices into teaching (especially for ICT).
  7. Organize and participate in school-wide initiatives, events, and parent engagement activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in ICT or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.

  4. Strong knowledge of the US Curriculum and Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
