HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As the Head of HR for Cartier UAE, reporting to the HRD Cartier MEIAT, you will lead the design and execution of the HR strategy for Cartier UAE (Office & Boutique population), ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives. This role is part of the UAE Executive Committee, working with other senior leaders to integrate the human resources function within the overall business strategy and act as a trusted adviser on organizational structure and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement the People HR strategy for the UAE, ensuring alignment with Maison goals, regional and local priorities, fostering organizational growth and performance. Use People Analytics to inform decisions and contribute to the Cartier UAE strategic plan. Participate in the Boutique yearly action plan and regional HR/UAE strategy through cross-market projects.
  2. Team Management: Manage a team of two (HR Manager and Executive), leading by example, motivating, and developing their skills. Provide strategic and operational guidance.
  3. Business Partnership: Collaborate with Ex-Co members as a trusted HR advisor. Support retail network needs, coach managers, handle disputes, and share HR best practices across markets to promote a human-centric workplace and engaging employee experience.
  4. Organizational Design: Regularly assess organizational structure and staffing, drive reviews based on HR analytics and business needs, challenge the status quo, and lead change management initiatives.
  5. Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee recruitment processes, develop retention and succession plans, and implement Emiratization strategies aligned with national objectives and Maison needs.
  6. Compensation & Benefits: Manage HR costs, headcount planning, salary reviews, and benefits to ensure competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance.
  7. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement: Ensure policy compliance, leverage digital tools (e.g., Workday, Visier, SAP), and lead HR initiatives and audits.
  8. Inclusive Workplace: Foster a culture of belonging, drive engagement, lead wellbeing strategies, and promote HR initiatives to support talent growth and engagement.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

Success in this role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or similar, with at least 10 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the UAE or MEIA region. Industry experience in retail, talent management, organizational development, and HR transformation is essential. Strong stakeholder management, influence skills, and knowledge of UAE labor laws are crucial.
