Job summary

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering team, plan maintenance, and drive energy efficiency across the property. The role requires at least five years in hotel engineering, fluent English, and professional certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with strong leadership and guest-focused service.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language is required.
• Certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of five years operating experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Familiar with operations of other hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all preventative maintenance work, new projects, extensions and renovations.
• Monitor energy use and implement measures to reduce costs.
• Prepare the property engineering budget and contribute to strategic planning.
• Coordinate with People & Culture on recruitment and interviewing.
• Oversee payroll and department expenditures and manage subcontractors.
