Role Description
This is a full-time role for the Head of Geomarket, MENA & Caspian, Energy Business, at AFED Digital. The role involves developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing a diverse sales team, and overseeing sales operations to ensure revenue growth and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include business planning, account management, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
1. Develop and execute a regional geo‑market strategy, identifying growth opportunities and aligning energy business offerings with MENA & Caspian regional needs.
2. Forge and nurture relationships with national oil companies, international oil corporations, government bodies, and strategic clients across target regions.
3. Lead regional sales, tenders, and proposal processes, ensuring alignment with local market dynamics, pricing strategies, and commercial success.
4. Serve as the regional technical authority, guiding service delivery, solution design, and customized offerings to meet complex customer requirements.
5. Engage local regulators, ministries, and industry associations to deepen market penetration and maintain compliance.
6. Coordinate with internal teams (projects, products, technology, consulting etc), to ensure efficient project execution.
7. Own regional budgeting, forecasting, and financial metrics; ensure profitability and adherence to corporate financial targets.
8. Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies; ensure regional adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and corporate policies.
9. Represent the company at regional events and conferences; publish thought leadership materials to elevate brand recognition.
10. Analyze market trends, policy shifts, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities; deliver strategic intelligence to senior leadership.
11. Build and mentor regional geomarket teams, including business development, proposal, and technical experts; drive high performance and capability.
12. Lead negotiations on key regional contracts, addressing commercial, legal, and technical aspects to align with company strategy.
13. Identify and champion innovative technologies and services to maintain competitive advantage and meet evolving market needs.
14. Provide real-time regional support for critical operational challenges, ensuring safe and reliable service delivery.
15. Collaborate with global leadership, Centers of Excellence, and product teams to align regional projects with global strategy and standards.
