We're seeking a dynamic and dependable Head of Financial O&M in Dubai. As the head of the commercial O&M, you will play an important role in our solar and wind parks as well as battery storage systems’ operations by overseeing the financial performance of each project. This pivotal role will ensure the efficient operation, profitability, and sustainability of our renewable energy assets.
You will engage with relevant institutions, partners, and shareholders, fostering strong relationships while overseeing commercial activities of each project. Your keen eye for detail will be instrumental in evaluating and providing valuable insights and optimizations of the financial performance of these projects.

What you bring to the table

• Fluent in English; German is a big plus
• Successfully completed commercial education (e.g., undergraduate)
• Several years of experience in finance or accounting in a medium-sized or larger company, having assumed project responsibility
• Several years of experience in leadership roles
• Experience in financial asset management is a big plus
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Structured and result-oriented working style
• Reliability, diligence, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset

Your mission

• Manage a small commercial team and be on top of operations and affairs
• Oversee the financial performance of our SPVs by analyzing liquidities and revenue analyses
• Manage obligations and deadlines
• Find solutions and communicate to upper management in case of deviations from our KPIs
• Check compliance with legal/contractual responsibilities
• Be involved in negotiations and manage commercial contracts, including PPAs, service contracts, etc.
• Lead the commercial optimization of assets, identifying revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities
• Exchange with shareholders, financing banks, and other parties
• Collaborate with upper management to align O&M strategies with organizational goals
• Work closely with our head of technical O&M to ensure smooth operations between the technical and commercial division
• Optimize internal processes and workflows
• Organize and validate internal and external financial reporting
