This role involves :

• Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Finance is responsible for running the Finance Department efficiently and proactively on a day-to-day basis.
• Supporting the General Manager on long-term strategy and departmental growth.
• Focusing on effective leadership, transparent accounting practices, financial planning & strategy, establishing financial policies and procedures, and overseeing activities and budgets for each department.
• Training, developing, coaching, and mentoring members of the Finance department are essential responsibilities.

Qualifications :

• Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• Qualified Accountant - ACA, CIMA, or equivalent

Experience :

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar role
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in corporate reporting, FP&A, or management accounting
• Strong experience in financial reporting
• Previous experience in the UAE, preferably in the event industry
• Experience using Microsoft ERP Solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
