Job summary

iSolution in Dubai seeks a Senior Engineering Leader to set the technical direction, drive architecture, and oversee delivery of scalable enterprise software. You will lead cross-functional teams, align IT strategy with business goals, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires a Master’s in CS or related field, 15+ years of professional experience, and 7+ years of people management. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.

• Direction: Set the technical direction and strategy for the development team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Team Oversight: Manage the full team lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, setting performance goals, and conducting reviews.
• Culture: Foster a positive, productive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of learning by identifying areas for optimization and introducing new technologies or processes.

Technical Excellence & Quality Assurance

• Architecture: Leverage a deep understanding of software development methodologies, architecture, and best practices to guide decision-making.
• Quality Control: Establish quality assurance processes, conduct code reviews, and implement testing strategies to ensure high reliability and quality standards.
• Industry Knowledge: Maintain a strong technical background and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Project Management & Collaboration

• Execution: Oversee project planning, resourcing, and execution to ensure timelines are estimated accurately and resources are allocated effectively.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the bridge between development and other departments (Product, Marketing, Operations), conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Technical Experience: 8+ years of experience designing and building scalable enterprise software.
• Management Experience: 7+ years of managing teams within a development organization.
