Job summary

Ziina in Dubai seeks a Head of Design to own the vision, lead a growing design team, and craft end-to-end user experiences across fintech products. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and brand, shaping how people interact with money in a region underserved for too long.

You will help the organization scale by maturing design systems, shipping bold features, and influencing leadership with data-driven insight and AI-enabled design

Qualifications

• Lead and grow design teams in a fast-scaling product environment (fintech, consumer tech, or similar).
• Exceptional designer who can show the work, not just talk about it.
• Think in systems and outcomes, linking design decisions to user behavior and business results.
• Ship 0-1 products and navigate from nothing to launch.
• Communicate with clarity and influence with founders, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Build design systems that scale and get adopted.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a high-performing design team. Coach designers, raise the bar on craft, and create paths for progression.
• Set the design vision and translate strategy into products that drive acquisition, activation and retention.
• Lead end-to-end design on major bets, from concept to launch, actively designing.
• Turn user insight into product decisions by building feedback loops for the roadmap.
• Scale design without dilution by maturing the design system and reducing debt.
• Be a strategic voice in the room and influence product and leadership decisions with data and AI/automation.
