Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable in waste management (solid and liquid waste) and waste recycling (sorting and recycling).
• Capable of overseeing day-to-day waste collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal services.
• Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of recycling programs and landfill operations.
• Capable of developing and implementing the department’s strategic waste management plan.
• Ensuring compliance with all local, national, and international waste management regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Job qualifications/requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years in waste management or environmental services, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role preferably working within the private sector in any GCC country.
• Preferably candidates with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Waste Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Candidates should have experience with waste management, waste recycling, landfills and garbage.
