Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the overall strategy for the Debt Capital Markets Unit.
- Identify market opportunities and trends to expand the Arab Bank’s DCM business.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Collaborate with senior management to align DCM activities with the bank's broader financial goals.
- Stay updated on global and regional debt capital markets developments.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize deal execution and market positioning.
- Oversee the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of debt financing solutions, including bonds, SUKUK, and syndicated loans.
- Work closely with new and existing customers to assess their financing needs and recommend appropriate debt solutions.
- Coordinate with legal, credit, and compliance teams to ensure proper due diligence and regulatory adherence.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with debt issuance and capital markets transactions.
- Supervise the preparation of transaction-related documents.
Client & Investor Relations :
- Maintain and grow strong relationships with corporate issuers, financial institutions, and government entities.
- Advise clients on market conditions, pricing strategies, and debt issuance timing.
- Conduct investor roadshows and presentations to promote debt offerings.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized university.
- MBA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are preferred.
Experience :
- 12+ years of experience in debt capital markets, investment banking, or related financial services in GCC and North African Regions.
- In-depth knowledge of fixed income products, credit markets, and financial structuring.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills to navigate technical and regulatory complexities of a wide range of products.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including internal and external parties.
- Proven track record in originating, structuring, executing, and distributing debt transactions.
- Strong leadership experience with a history of managing high-performing teams.
