Job summary

Jex Recruitment in Dubai seeks a Head of Data to build and lead its data function as the company scales. You will oversee the Data Science, ML, Data Engineering and Analytics teams, defining strategy, architecture and a data-driven roadmap.

The role involves productionising ML models, building scalable data platforms, and partnering with Product and leadership to drive data-driven product development. You will hire and mentor a high-performing team and own data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary data teams.
• Track record of ML/data products in production.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Data Science, ML, Data Engineering and Analytics functions.
• Define the overall data strategy, architecture and technical roadmap.
• Develop and productionise ML models that impact product and customer experience.
• Build scalable data platforms, pipelines and infrastructure.
• Establish analytics, reporting and experimentation capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and leadership on data-driven product development.
• Hire, mentor and scale a high-performing data team.
• Own data quality, governance and reliability as the business grows.
