Job description

Our client collaborates with local and international organizations to execute projects that enhance the social, cultural, and educational sectors of the UAE. It focuses on enriching the community through strategic partnerships and impactful initiatives. They already partner with some of the best schools from the USA.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the execution of the university's communications strategy each academic year, including local, regional, and international engagement, as well as issue and crisis management in coordination with senior leadership.
  • Manage the execution of the communications strategy, including campaigns, events, writing, liaising with third-party suppliers and media, stakeholder communications, and event logistics.
  • Draft and / or review all internal and external communications materials to ensure alignment with the communication strategy, including media monitors, briefing notes, board memos, press releases, etc.
  • Manage relationships with third-party suppliers for key internal communications services such as website development, campaign management, and social media.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify potential reputational risks or threats to the company and mitigate them.
  • Execute events and communications components of signature projects & exhibitions.
  • Oversee the management of the public profile, including the website.
  • Maintain corporate identity materials, both internal and external, including website, intranet, stationery, gifts, etc.
  • Design and oversee staff engagement activities, including weekly town hall meetings, annual away days, periodic celebrations, and other events.

Minimum Requirements :

  • 15+ years' experience in advisory, strategy, program management, communications, public relations, and / or corporate communications.
  • Previous experience in managing engagement with high-level stakeholders at the senior government / ministerial level.
  • Strong success in project leadership and ability to be hands-on.
  • An ability to understand new concepts quickly across a variety of fields (education, government policy, etc.).
